Wendy Faraone is a dynamic and influential director. A former child actor, Wendy later discovered her passion for directing and teaching. She earned a theatre degree in directing and channeled those skills towards musicals and straight theatre. Wendy returned to her childhood roots when she joined Disney Channel as an on-set acting coach, where she worked for 12 years with actors on, Liv and Maddie, Best Friends Whenever, I Didn't Do It, A.N.T. Farm, Wizards of Waverly Place, I’m in the Band, Sonny with a Chance, I'm in the Band, Dog with a Blog, Kacie Undercover and Hannah Montana.

Wendy was actually asked to direct for Disney Channel. She piloted a program for women directors at Disney and had her television directorial debut on Liv and Maddie. After that, Wendy went on to direct over 30 episodes of television in under just 3 years! She has directed multiple episodes of Knight Squad on Nickelodeon, Walk the Prank, Raven’s Home, Sydney to the Max, Coop and Cami Ask the World, Bunk’d, and is the house director of Just Roll With It! Wendy is thrilled to be playing a major role in changing the percentage of women directors in Hollywood.

In addition to her directing, Wendy teaches acting workshops all over the world! Her classes sell out instantly because students receive in an inviting and energetic environment the tools necessary to be successful, working actors in the entertainment industry. When Wendy is not directing or teaching, she coaches actors from America, Singapore to London and works with actors at her home base in Long Beach. Wendy's goal is to equip actors with the skills, confidence and dedication required to show up on set and be ready to work. Her enthusiasm for and focused energy on the craft, prepare her students for promising and enduring careers.
